The Department of Foreign Languages at Istanbul Health and Technology University conducts its educational activities with the aim of equipping students with the foreign language knowledge and skills necessary to support their academic studies and professional development.
The Department offers compulsory and optional English Preparatory Programs, as well as compulsory and elective foreign language courses included in undergraduate curricula. The programs are structured in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and are supported by contemporary teaching methodologies and educational technologies designed to develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in an integrated manner.
Through its student-centered approach to education, effective assessment and evaluation practices, up-to-date instructional materials, and commitment to continuous improvement, the Department of Foreign Languages aims to enable students to use foreign languages effectively in their academic and professional lives.
