Istanbul Health and Technology University, School of Foreign Languages consists of the English Preparatory School, the Compulsory English and Elective Foreign Language Courses Unit and the Department of English Translation and Interpretation. During its establishment, the criteria suggested by national and international accreditation centers were considered, and the curriculum was prepared by our competent and experienced staff, in line with contemporary developments, based on a student-centered model of education.
The aim of our school is to raise individuals who can think critically, investigate, conduct research, produce creative ideas, take an active role in problem solving, establish healthy relationships with the environment, engage in individual and team work successfully, have technology literacy, who are egalitarian, free-minded, and self-confident, and who observe professional ethics in line with our vision.
In this context, our university supports the possibility for students in the English Translation and Interpretion Department to study abroad for a semester as part of the Erasmus+ program. In our department’s summer practice program, students can apply what they have learned in the course to the real world while also learning about the business world. They can take advantage of double major or minor program options to earn diplomas in a variety of areas of interest. They can develop their skills and improve their social connections thanks to our vibrant student clubs.
